this is a project that came in today. felt i needed to share, and im sure the owner would like to track progress on it!

first gen rx7.
built 5.0, aluminum heads, b cam head studs, hooley systemax intake 70 tb.

heres some pics!

looking over the car, and after talking to the owner. there is a long and short list..lol he has a short list of things. but sitting back and making my list, its just alot longer at this point.
integrate the 2 wiring harness's as one.
fit the radiator
exhaust.
battery mounting
talk to owner about redoing fuel system for cleaner install and better operation etc.
make it run
dyno and tuning etc
possible super charger install.

got the harness started today, and got started into fitting it into the car.

found 2 holes right where the old a/c lines came out, so i removed the box and trimmed some of the sound material out of the way so i can snake the harness behind it, and run the 5.0 ecu in the place of the factory mazda one.
plan on trimming off whats not needed  and re looming the warness and shorting up some wiring and maybe adding some weather pack connectors instead of the big round ford ones, to help save some space.

started un packing the parts for the hydro clutch set up

got the tank back in

got the pump mounted correctly

got most of all the lines ran

used up all the parts i had, still have to go get some hose's and fittings, and the fuel system will be done once i wire it up

started fitting the master cylinder

and got my dual exhaust started with x pipe...

headers will be the lowest part under the car beside's the oil pan.

and steve, we really dont need this oil cooler.. and i think you may find, boosting it is going to way over power this little thing.. maybe a shot of some spray.. but id say lets just build a high revving motor for this thing...
